In conjunction with this Leadership team, each key learning area has an Instructional leader who is responsible for the development of curriculum, in line with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. They form the Teaching and Learning team and are led by a Leading Teacher and Assistant Principal.

Student management is undertaken through a Sub School structure (Junior 7/8, Middle 9/10 and Senior 11/12). The Year Level Coordinatos manage students in their sub school and liaise with parents/carers and teachers to ensure positive learning, wellbeing and engagement outcomes. Additionally, Youth workers support students in the Junior and Middle years. Overseeing these teams are the Junior, Middle and Senior Learning and Wellbeing Leaders. Every Year 7 form has a significant teacher who manages the students in their form. Sunbury College runs Pastoral Care (PC) every morning. This enables teachers to connect with their classes, assist with setting up for the day and deliver a program that addresses student engagement and wellbeing. An Inclusion and Wellbeing team support all students across the year levels to promote cohort specific and small group wellbeing programs and provide individual students tailored assistance when required.
